GLAC TRACK AND FIELD 2024-2025 DATES

The GLAC calendar for the 2024-2025 Track & Field season is 12 weeks of regular programs plus Championship Day.

​Key dates are:

- GLAC season commences: Saturday 12th October 2024
- Last GLAC event prior to Christmas: Saturday 7th December 2024
- First GLAC event post Christmas: Saturday 18th January 2024 (GLAC Combined Events Day & 60th Anniversary Celebrations)
- GLAC Championship Day: Saturday 15th March 2024

Please note that all pre-Christmas meets will be held at Goldsworthy Reserve in Corio. After Christmas we will return to Landy Field. This is subject to the completion of the track upgrade.

Some other key dates for Regional & State events are:

- Sunday 20th October: Region Challenge U9-U16, invite only
- Saturday 16th November: Regional Relay Championships U9-U16
- Saturday 14th December: State Relay Championships U9-U16
- Saturday 1st/Sunday 2nd February: State Combined Championship U9-U16
- Saturday 15th/Sunday 116h February: Region Track and Field U9-U16
- Saturday 8th/Sunday 9th March: State Track and Field Championships U9-U16

2024-25 Season Calendar

Weather Cancellation or Program Changes

Cancellation of weekly competition programs can occur throughout the season due to wet weather or excessive heat conditions. On a Saturday morning, or prior to any twilight programs scheduled, if you think that the program may be cancelled, please check your GLAC Team App or Facebook after 7.45am

The decision to cancel a program is made by the GLAC Committee with the safety of athletes and officials at their primary concern. On some occasions a program may also be altered to suit weather conditions.
